Welcome
Yeah so I'm starting this thing up again.
Why
Decided to actually sit down and slap my website together again. I mostly just want to reclaim my own little corner of the internet that isn't trapped in some kind of capitalist social media monetization machine, like the good old days. My goal is just a place to document projects, host any little toys I put together, share knowledge, etc. I hopefully spend more time doing projects and documenting them than designing a website. Of course, that depends on me actually doing projects and documenting them!
What
I'm going full send on it and pretending I'm actually a competent full stack developer. Using the following stack:
- 11ty
- tailwindcss
- daisyui
That's it. I started with this template because reinventing the wheel in web dev is a fool's errand. Consistent with the goals of the website, a simple little static thing is nice. So far, I like the setup, it feels modern and slick without the usual spaghetti mess that my previous encounters with web stuff have felt like.
